Program Profile
The Automotive Sector, one of the locomotive sectors of our country's economy and a key area of ​​employment, also stands out as an implementer of current and high-standard technologies.
In the Automotive Technologies program, students acquire fundamental knowledge and skills in the design, working principles, manufacturing, maintenance, and measurement of parts and equipment used in vehicles.
This knowledge and these skills cover both classic vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines and electric, hybrid, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. As a result of national and international collaborations, our successful students can find Erasmus internship opportunities.
All students have to join the praxis semester at companies to complete Vocational Workplace Application and Graduation Project in different sectors in Turkey or Germany. Our Brand Courses, included in the program curriculum, are conducted within the framework of Sectoral Cooperation, ensuring that our students meet directly with sector representatives from the first year onwards. Vision To be a leading program that trains qualified personnel sought after on national and international platforms, capable of working in all processes of the automotive sector, and that develops training methods in cooperation with the industry, serving as an example to others. Mission To train Automotive Technicians who can successfully apply existing and new technologies used in the automotive sector, are creative, research-oriented, productive, proficient in a foreign language, able to combine theoretical knowledge and practical applications, and ready for professional life. Career Opportunities Our graduates can work as Technicians/Expert Technical personnel in the planning, design, production, marketing, sales and after-sales departments of automotive and original equipment production and assembly plants, vehicle inspection stations, automobile sales, service and maintenance centers, automotive spare parts production plants, maintenance and technical service companies, and automotive R&D companies.
