Profile of the Programme

The Textile and Fashion Design Undergraduate Program aims to provide students with a comprehensive perspective on the creative, technical, and theoretical aspects of the textile and fashion industry. The program seeks to educate innovative designers with sustainable and aesthetic values by integrating contemporary design approaches with technological advancements. Throughout the education process, students are equipped with diverse courses such as textile structures, fabric production techniques, garment design, collection development, digital design tools, and fashion history. In addition, through practice-based projects, internships, and workshops conducted in collaboration with the industry, students have the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

The program brings together art, culture, technology, and production, allowing students to develop their own unique design identities. Education is delivered within the framework of innovative design approaches, principles of sustainability, and global fashion trends. Graduates can pursue careers in various roles such as fashion designer, textile designer, collection developer, product development specialist, style consultant, or fashion editor. They also have broad career opportunities in ready-to-wear companies, textile manufacturing firms, fashion houses, media organizations, or by establishing their own brands.
