The international joint degree (UOLP, dual degree) program between Yeditepe University's International Finance Bachelor's Program and Western Ontario University's King's University College (KING) Economics and Finance Bachelor's Program is taught in English and lasts four years, excluding the preparatory school.
Students study at Yeditepe University for the first two years and at KING for the last two years. Students who graduate at the end of four years receive two independent diplomas: one is a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Finance from Yeditepe University, and the other is a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and Finance from KING.
The admission and placement of Turkish students to UOLP is based on the placement results of ÖSYM conducted by ÖSYS. Foreign students will be admitted according to international student admission criteria (YU International Office). Turkish students who have completed their secondary education (high school) entirely at high schools abroad can apply to the program using the KING quota.
Students must successfully complete the first two years of courses and academic requirements at Yeditepe University and demonstrate foreign language proficiency (TOEFL) in order to study in the 3rd and 4th years at KING. Students must comply with all application deadlines set by KING. Students who do not comply with the specified rules and dates and who do not pay their educational financial obligations cannot register or renew their registration. Obtaining a Canadian student visa, complying with Canadian immigration laws, and covering all expenses in Canada, including accommodation, living, education, insurance, food, transportation, books, and all other expenses, are the responsibility of the student and must be covered by the student.
In the fee-based UOLP program, the program fee at the location where the student is studying is valid each year.

Through UOLP, students may have the opportunity to take advantage of internship or practical training opportunities in Canada before or after graduation. Please contact the KING International Office for guidance on any questions you may have on this subject. Seeing different cultures, economic and business environments, and different financial perspectives firsthand during their studies in Canada can contribute to our students' experiences and develop their ability to work in international environments.
