The Information Security Technology Department aims to train graduates who, in the context of cyber technology and the specific needs of cybersecurity management, can effectively conduct vulnerability scanning and testing against information security threats, perform level-improvement analyses in terms of information security, have experience in network, information, and application security, and are capable of organizing awareness programs to detect and eliminate security threats.
In parallel with improving the level of security against possible information security threats and identifying system vulnerabilities, one of the department’s main objectives is to ensure information security by taking systematic measures at the hardware and software levels, and to demonstrate all these elements within the broader framework of cybersecurity management.
Our curriculum includes courses such as programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python), scripting languages (JavaScript, PHP), artificial intelligence, web design, computer networks, Oracle-compatible database systems, information systems security, cryptology, penetration testing, network security, database security, virtualization and cloud systems, as well as computer crimes and legislation.
