The Industrial Design Department aims to enrich design education with its academic staff composed of professionals and academics, thereby transferring the broad perspective gained through this approach to education. Our department has adopted an education approach that emphasises creativity and is application-oriented. Educational projects conducted in collaboration with local, national, and international companies from various sectors through university-industry partnerships make students more experienced, interdisciplinary, and professional.
Our graduates contribute to the development of high-quality designs that have a national and global impact and play a role as academic leaders in Industrial Design departments in Turkey. Our department has student and staff exchange agreements with design schools in various countries around the world. Thanks to minor and double major agreements with other departments within our university and faculty, our students are able to broaden their educational horizons in areas of interest.
