Our department's mission is to train physiotherapists who have received universal physiotherapyphysiotherapy and rehabilitation education, who embrace the ethical values of the physiotherapy profession, who are committed to the preservation, development, and treatment of physical health and functional abilities in society, who are inquisitive, collaborative, participatory, and who have acquired the skills to follow and integrate current literature. In line with this mission, it aims to play an effective role in improving health, maximizing functional capacity and participation in social life for individuals of all age groups in society (such as newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly), controlling the symptoms and functional limitations of individuals with symptoms following an illness or accident, and increasing their independence levels. and interpretation, and plan physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs with professional ethical principles and an evidence-based perspective. It aims to train physiotherapists who can plan and conduct scientific studies, have developed professional autonomy, and can work in a multidisciplinary manner. Individuals who take effective responsibility for increasing the independence levels of people with disabilities resulting from illness and accidents across different age groups, increasing the independence levels of individuals with disabilities following illness or injury, and cultivating physiotherapists who are pioneers in their field. These physiotherapists are equipped with evidence-based physiotherapy and rehabilitation knowledge, capable of conducting assessments, planning and interpreting treatment programs, thinking critically, gaining professional autonomy, and working in a multidisciplinary manner.
