Profile of the Programme

The Agricultural Trade and Management Undergraduate Program is a four-year, multidisciplinary program offered by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Yeditepe University. The medium of instruction is English. The program holds the distinction of being the first and only undergraduate program in Türkiye that integrates the agricultural sector with the disciplines of business administration, economics, and international trade.

The primary aim of the program is to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in agriculture, soil sciences, economics, business, and trade through an interdisciplinary approach. The curriculum combines theoretical foundations with practical learning opportunities, enabling students to gain expertise in areas such as sustainable agriculture, food security, rural development, and agricultural policies.

The program aims to equip students with the ability to analyze, develop strategies, and make decisions across the agricultural value chain—from production to consumption. In doing so, it trains graduates to become sectorally competent, ethically responsible, solution-oriented, and internationally qualified professionals.

Graduates can pursue careers in agricultural enterprises, producer associations, cooperatives, food industry organizations, retail companies, consulting firms, and private sector institutions engaged in agricultural trade, as well as in public institutions such as the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and non-governmental organizations. Additionally, graduates have the opportunity to establish their own ventures and develop innovative and sustainable business models within the sector.
