Under the Central Placement system, candidates are placed in higher education programs by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) based on their exam scores, weighted high school GPA, any additional points, their program preferences, as well as the quotas and requirements of the programs.
For students placed into a program by ÖSYM, initial enrollment is carried out by the Directorate of Student Registration Services on the dates announced by the University, in line with the calendar established by ÖSYM.
To complete their final enrollment, students are required to submit original documents or certified copies specified in the ÖSYS Higher Education Programs and Quotas Guide, along with any other documents requested by the University.
If it is determined that a student does not meet the requirements for final enrollment, subsequently loses these requirements, or has submitted false or misleading information or documents, the student’s enrollment will be canceled, even if it has been finalized.
The application requirements for higher education institutions and programs that admit students through Special Talent Exams are determined each year in the guide published by ÖSYM. Candidates applying to programs that admit students through special talent exam results are admitted to the relevant programs according to the principles determined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and based on the results of the exams administered by the University.
