Admission Requirements


Demo University welcomes applications from students around the globe who are eager to pursue academic excellence and contribute to a diverse, dynamic community. Below are the general admission requirements for undergraduate and graduate programs:

Undergraduate Programs

  1. High School Diploma:
    • Applicants must have successfully completed high school or an equivalent secondary education program.
  2. Academic Transcript:
    • A certified copy of the applicant's high school transcript showing grades and courses completed.
  3. Standardized Test Scores:
    • International applicants may submit SAT, ACT, or other equivalent test scores (optional for some programs).
  4. English Proficiency:
    • TOEFL (minimum score: 80 IBT), IELTS (minimum score: 6.5), or equivalent.
    • Applicants whose prior education was in English may be exempt.
  5. Statement of Purpose (SOP):
    • A one-page essay detailing academic goals and motivations for applying to Demo University.
  6. Letters of Recommendation:
    • Two letters from teachers or counselors who can speak to the applicant's academic abilities and character.
  7. Application Fee:
    • A non-refundable application fee of [$X] (details available on the admissions portal).

Graduate Programs

  1. Bachelor’s Degree:
    • Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree from a recognized institution.
  2. Academic Transcript:
    • Certified copies of all undergraduate and, if applicable, graduate-level coursework.
  3. English Proficiency:
    • TOEFL (minimum score: 90 IBT), IELTS (minimum score: 7.0), or equivalent.
    • Exemptions apply for applicants with prior education in English.
  4. Statement of Purpose (SOP):
    • A detailed essay outlining the applicant’s research interests, career aspirations, and reasons for choosing Demo University.
  5. Letters of Recommendation:
    • Three letters from academic or professional references.
  6. Entrance Exam Results (if applicable):
    • GRE, GMAT, or other program-specific tests as required by the faculty.
  7. Portfolio or Writing Sample (if applicable):
    • Required for certain programs such as Fine Arts or Research-based degrees.
  8. Interview:
    • Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview (in-person or online).
