Yeditepe University has taken important steps to increase accessibility in sports and social life and to ensure equal participation. In addition, the Buddy System supporting visually impaired individuals on campus, the Olympic indoor swimming pool equipped with special platforms, physical accessibility arrangements in sports halls, organizations facilitating the participation of students with disabilities in sports competitions, and the barrier-free sports approach are integral parts of Yeditepe University’s inclusive education vision.

In Touch with Nature: Practice Greenhouse
The practice and maintenance greenhouse on the Yeditepe University campus serves as both a nature laboratory and an application area for environmentally conscious education. In the greenhouse, indoor plants are maintained, produced, and propagated, and appropriate care is provided for diseased plants.
At the same time, practical components of courses such as “Growing Garden Products” and “Kitchen Herbs” for students of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts are also conducted here. This area offers a unique opportunity for students who understand the importance of contact with nature and are educated in sustainable agriculture.
