EUA - European University Association: The European University Association (EUA) is an association representing more than 800 higher education institutions across 48 European countries and facilitates cooperation and the exchange of information on higher education and research policies.

EUF - European University Foundation: The European University Foundation aims to accelerate the modernization of the European Higher Education Area. The Foundation focuses its activities on five core principles and advocates diversity and social justice in higher education.

IAO - International Association Of Universities (International Universities Bureau): The International Association of Universities (IAU) is a membership-based non-governmental organization operating in the field of global higher education. It has more than 600 members in over 130 countries, including institutions, organizations, affiliates, and partners in higher education. The IAU was established under the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and is an official partner of UNESCO.

United Nations Academic Impact: United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) is an initiative that aims to align higher education institutions with the goals of the United Nations (UN). Its 12 core objectives are to promote and protect the UN in areas such as human rights, access to education, sustainability, and conflict resolution, and to create a network for university students, academics, and researchers to facilitate the sharing of ideas, research, and resources.

GUNI - Global University Network for Innovation: The Global University Network for Innovation (GUNI) is an international network that aims to promote innovation and cooperation in higher education. It was founded in 1999 by UNESCO, the United Nations University (UNU), and the Technical University in Barcelona (UPC).
The main goals of GUNI are:

  • to strengthen the role of higher education in society through the reform and innovation of higher education policies, 
  • to bridge the gap in higher education between developed and developing countries, 
  • to promote networking among higher education institutions and cooperation with society, 
  • to facilitate the exchange of resources, innovative ideas, and experiences. 

COARA - Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment: CoARA is a community of organizations committed to reforming research assessment methods.
The main goals of CoARA are as follows:

  • to recognize the diversity of research outputs, practices, and activities, 
  • to emphasize qualitative judgment in assessment, with peer review as a central element, 
  • to support the responsible use of quantitative indicators. 

Observatory - MAGNA CHARTA UNIVERSITATUM: Magna Charta Universitatum is a declaration and commitment on the fundamental principles of the mission of universities, signed in 1988 on the occasion of the 900th anniversary of the University of Bologna.
