Yeditepe University provides on-campus dormitory facilities to support its students and provide a safe, socially enriching living environment. Located within the University campus, the dormitories are at the heart of campus life and are designed to facilitate students’ academic lives. Located within the 26 August Campus on the Anatolian Side of Istanbul, the dormitories are at the center of campus life and are designed to facilitate students’ academic lives.
On-Campus Life
At our campus on the Anatolian Side of Istanbul, we offer accommodation options for different needs in our male and female student dormitories, with a capacity of more than 3,700 beds.
For female students, 1- and 2-person room options are available; for male students, 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-person room options are available. All rooms are equipped as standard with internet access, a desk, a chair, a mini refrigerator, a bookshelf, a wardrobe, and basic furniture. Bathrooms and toilets are located inside the rooms.
Security is provided in the dormitory buildings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and entrances and exits are monitored through controlled systems.
Common Areas and Social Facilities
To facilitate students’ daily lives and support socialization, the dormitory buildings include kitchens, laundry rooms, ironing rooms, lounges, and quiet study areas.
In addition, on-campus facilities, such as restaurants, cafeterias, a mini-market, a health center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, and a gym, are available to students. These facilities both support academic success and contribute to students’ physical and social development.
Ease of Transportation
The dormitories are within walking distance of classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports halls, and social facilities. For students coming from outside the city, the campus is advantageously located for transportation to many parts of Istanbul. Thanks to the campus shuttle services, students can move easily within the campus.
A Safe and Supportive Environment
In addition to 24/7 security services in our dormitories, our professional counseling and student support units actively address any issues students may encounter. The on-campus health center and the ambulance service, available when needed, respond quickly and safely to students’ health needs.
Yeditepe University dormitories also host international students from all around the world. Thanks to these multicultural living spaces, students can interact with diverse cultures, expand their social networks, and gain a global perspective. Dormitory placements are organized to support students’ fast adaptation to campus life.
