The Europass Diploma Supplement consists of eight sections, including: information about the diploma holder, the original and translated name of the degree program, a description of the program of study, the qualification level within the national qualifications framework, the content of the studies and the learning outcomes achieved by the graduate, program details, modules and ECTS credits, the grading system, access to further study, the professional status of the qualification, and information on the national higher education system.
Designed as a supporting tool to promote the recognition of academic qualifications, the Europass Diploma Supplement is a key instrument of the European Higher Education Area. It ensures that graduates’ qualifications are understood and recognized by higher education institutions, public authorities, and employers both in their home country and abroad. Please note that the Europass Diploma Supplement does not replace the original diploma.
