Completion Requirements of the PhD Program in Financial Economics
In order to complete the PhD program, students must successfully complete 7 courses, a seminar, the qualifying (comprehensive) examination, and the doctoral dissertation.
In order to complete the Integrated PhD Program (Direct PhD from Bachelor’s degree), students must successfully complete 14 courses, a seminar, the qualifying (comprehensive) examination, and the doctoral dissertation.
In addition, students are required to take the qualifying examination no later than the 5th semester of the PhD program (no later than the 7th semester for the Integrated PhD program).
