Educational Aim of the Program

  • The goal of Yeditepe University’s Master’s Program in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is to train specialist physiotherapists who have acquired advanced knowledge, clinical skills, and scientific research competence in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation; and who are capable of planning and implementing evidence-based practices tailored to the needs of different patient groups. The program aims to enable students to critically evaluate current scientific literature, actively participate in research processes, act with a sense of ethical and professional responsibility, and contribute to the field of physical therapy at the academic, clinical, and scientific levels.

Educational Objectives of the Program

  • The educational objectives of the Yeditepe University Master’s Program in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation are to prepare students to become expert physiotherapists who can critically evaluate current scientific knowledge in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, make evidence-based clinical decisions, and develop rehabilitation approaches tailored to the needs of diverse individuals. The program aims to develop students’ skills in research planning, data collection, analysis, interpretation of scientific findings, and academic writing. Additionally, the program seeks to produce graduates who adhere to ethical principles, embrace lifelong learning, are open to interdisciplinary teamwork, and are capable of contributing to the academic and clinical advancement of the field of physical therapy.
