The undergraduate program of the Department of English Language and Literature consists of three professors, one associate professor, five assistant professors, one lecturer and two research assistants. In addition, part-time lecturers holding doctoral degrees are appointed according to the semesterly course needs that arise from the teaching load of the MA and PhD programs along with the BA program.
Both faculty members and students can access the resources they need for their studies through the university’s database system from their computers, and they can also make use of the library for printed materials. Established in 1996, Yeditepe University Library is located in the Rectorate Building, covering an area of 6,000 square meters with a seating capacity of 400. Computer terminals are available throughout the campus, and students can access these terminals or connect to the university’s wireless network using their own devices.
