The program has thesis and non-thesis options. Thesis master's program consists of eight courses and a thesis with a sum of 24 local credits. Graduate program consists of core courses. Non-thesis master's program consists of 11 courses and a graduation project with a sum of 33 local credits.
Master's degree program has 120 ECTS credits in total. In addition to midterm and final exams, learning activities such as reports, assignments, quizzes, seminar presentations and written project work can be used in the performance evaluation. Final note must be at least 70 out of 100 to be successful. Students can register the failed courses. From the beginning of the third semester, students must register for the thesis each semester. A student of thesis master's program must write the thesis in accordance with the rules of the institute concerns on thesis writing and thesis must be defended in front of the jury. After the completion of the examination jury decides by majority acceptance, rejection or correction. In case of a correction of the thesis, the student defends the thesis within three months in front of the same jury again. If the thesis will not be accepted at the end of that defense, the student's record will be deleted.
Non-Thesis master's degree program has 90 ECTS credits in total. In addition to midterm and final exams, learning activities such as reports, assignments, quizzes, seminar presentations and written project work can be used in the performance evaluation. Final note must be at least 70 out of 100 to be successful. Students can register the failed courses. In 3. Semester student must register the courses with 9 local credits and the graduation project. Graduation project is a non-credit course according to the local credit system, and is evaluated as successful or failed.
