Yeditepe University Department of Physics was the first physics department in Türkiye to be accredited by FEDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Educational Programs of Faculties of Science, Literature, Science–Literature, Language and History–Geography) in 2012. Our accreditation has been renewed and is valid until 2028.
Due to the shared fundamental physics courses provided to the Faculty of Engineering, our courses and related laboratories are periodically reviewed by MÜDEK as part of the engineering accreditation process.
In addition, the Metrology and Calibration Laboratory YÜKAL and Interlaboratory Comparison and Proficiency Testing Unit YÜLAK of the Department of Physics is an accredited laboratory by TÜRKAK
