Qualification Requirements and Regulations

For Turkish Students:

  • High school diploma
  • Achieving a sufficient score on the university entrance exam administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM)
  • Not currently enrolled at another institution of higher education
  • Central placement is conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).

For International Students;
Information regarding applications and application deadlines is announced on YTÜ’s website. Applications must be submitted to the YTÜ Office of Student Affairs via mail or in person during the specified dates. Applicants may select up to 3 departments; a preference form must be completed during the application process.

Placement is based on national and international exams and the minimum scores obtained in these exams. The validity of exams equivalent to high school graduation exams (Abitur, International Baccalaureate, GCE, Tawjihi, etc.) is indefinite. However, the validity period for exams equivalent to university entrance exams (SAT, TCS, etc.) is limited to two years.

Applications are evaluated by the YTÜ International Student Admission Committee.

For Exchange Students:
The student must be a full-time student at their home university. There must be an inter-institutional agreement between the student’s university and Yeditepe University. The university must officially nominate the student for the relevant exchange program. The student’s home university sends the application documents to the YTÜ Office of International Relations. Applications are evaluated by the relevant department and the Office of International Relations.
