Admission Requirements for Yeditepe University

For Turkish Students:
Turkish students are placed through the centralized placement system conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).

For International Students:
Information regarding applications and application dates is announced on the YTÜ (Yıldız Technical University) website. Applications must be submitted to the YTÜ Directorate of Student Affairs either by mail or in person within the specified dates. Applicants may choose up to three departments and must complete a preference form during the application process.

Placement decisions are based on national and international exam results and the minimum required scores for those exams. The results of high school graduation examinations (such as Abitur, International Baccalaureate, GCE, Tawjihi, etc.) are valid indefinitely. However, the results of university entrance examinations (such as SAT, TCS, etc.) are valid for two years only.

Applications are evaluated by the YTÜ International Student Admission Committee.

For detailed information, please visit the International Admissions Office webpage.

For Exchange Students:
The student must be a full-time student at their home university. There must be an inter-institutional agreement between the home university and Yeditepe University. The home university must officially nominate the student for the relevant exchange program. The home university submits the application documents to the YTÜ Office of International Relations. Applications are evaluated by the relevant department and the Office of International Relations.
