Educational Aim of the Program

  • The primary objective of the Tourism Management Department at Yeditepe University is to educate qualified professionals who possess the knowledge, skills, and global vision required by the tourism and hospitality industry. The program aims to equip students with a strong foundation in management, marketing, finance, human resources, and sustainability within the context of tourism. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience, students develop analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making abilities that enable them to take on leadership roles in a dynamic and competitive global environment. Another important goal of the program is to cultivate individuals who are innovative, ethically responsible, and capable of adapting to the rapidly changing dynamics of the tourism sector. The curriculum integrates contemporary topics such as quality management in tourism, digital transformation, and sustainable development. Students are encouraged to develop intercultural communication skills and gain international exposure through exchange programs and internships, preparing them for successful careers in both local and international tourism organizations.
