For Turkish Students:
Turkish students are placed according to the central placement system by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).
For Foreign Students:
Information regarding applications and application dates are announced on YTÜ's website. Applications are submitted by mail or in person to the YTÜ Student Affairs Office within the specified dates. Applicants can choose up to 3 departments and fill out a preference form in their application.
Placement is based on national and international exams and the minimum scores obtained in these exams. The results of exams that are equivalent to high school graduation exams (Abitur, International Baccalaureate, GCE, Tawjihi, etc.) are valid indefinitely. However, the validity period of exams that are equivalent to university entrance exams (SAT, TCS, etc.) is limited to two years.
Applications are evaluated by the YTÜ Foreign Student Admission Committee.
For detailed information, please visit the International Admissions Office website.
For Exchange Students:
The student must be a full-time student at their own university. There must be an inter-institutional agreement between the student's university and Yeditepe University. The university must nominate the student for the relevant exchange program through official channels. The student's own university sends the application documents to the YTÜ International Relations Office. Applications are evaluated by the relevant department and the International Relations Office.
