Possession of a high school diploma,
Achieving a sufficient score in the national university entrance exam conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM),
Not being enrolled in another higher education institution at the time of registration,
Obtaining a valid score from the required aptitude examination.
Information regarding applications and application deadlines is announced on the official website of YTU. Applications must be submitted either by mail or in person to the YTU Registrar’s Office within the specified dates.
Placement is based on national and international exam results, minimum required scores, and the result of the aptitude examination.
Results from high school leaving exams (such as Abitur, International Baccalaureate, GCE, Tawjihi, etc.) are valid indefinitely.
However, results from university entrance exams (such as SAT, TCS, etc.) are valid for two years only.
Applications are evaluated by the YTU International Student Admission Commission.
The student must be enrolled as a full-time student at their home university. There must be an inter-institutional agreement between the home university and YTU. The home university must officially nominate the student for the relevant exchange program. The home university must send the student’s application documents to the YTU International Relations Office. Applications are evaluated by the relevant academic department and the International Relations Office.
