Educational Aim of the Program

  • PEA1 – To train graduates to effectively utilize the scientific method within a sustainability approach in the design, synthesis, characterization, and multi-scale modeling of traditional and advanced functional materials, and to work as researchers studying on national/international R&D projects.
  • PEA2 – To position graduates as engineers who can assume responsibilities in design, quality and verification, and production departments in materials and device development processes from the nanoscale to the macroscale, in areas such as advanced ceramics, metals and alloys, polymeric materials, energy storage and conversion, biomaterials, sensors, coatings, and composites. They can add value to the industry through their innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer competencies.
  • PEA3 – To train graduates as management candidates who are engineers who observe the principles of sustainability and circular economy, who can communicate effectively in interdisciplinary teams, and who have developed leadership and project management skills.

Educational Objectives of the Program

  • Our goal is to cultivate Materials Science and Nanotechnology Engineers with a strong sense of ethics and responsibility, who can design sustainable material processes and participate in interdisciplinary projects, and who possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
