The Department of Physics at Yeditepe University is the first physics department in Turkey to have been accredited by FEDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Science, Literature, Science-Literature, Language and History-Geography Faculties Programs) in 2012.
Our accreditation has been renewed, and the accreditation certificate remains valid until 2028.
Due to the joint fundamental physics courses offered to the Faculty of Engineering, our shared courses and related laboratories are periodically reviewed by MÜDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs).
In addition, the Metrology and Calibration Laboratory of the Department of Physics is an accredited laboratory by TÜRKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency).
