Pursuant to Article 44(1) of the Yeditepe University Undergraduate and Associate Degree Regulation, in order for a student to graduate from an associate degree or undergraduate program, it is compulsory to successfully complete all courses included in the curriculum within the period specified in Article 16 and to have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.00 out of 4.00.
For a student who has completed all courses required for the program in the curriculum of Yeditepe Vocational School and has a CGPA of 2.00, the advisor submits a petition confirming graduation, along with the Transcript and Curriculum document, for consideration by the Vocational School Administrative Board.
If the student whose documents the Administrative Board reviews is found to have met the required conditions, a graduation certificate is issued. Through this method, reliability is ensured by checking step by step whether the student has fulfilled the graduation requirements:
According to Article 34 of the Yeditepe University Undergraduate and Associate Degree Regulation, the graduation requirements for double major or minor programs are as follows:
a) In order to graduate from the second major program, the second major grade point average must be at least 2.70, and the graduation requirements of the program must be fulfilled.
b) In order to receive a minor certificate, the major grade point average must be at least 2.30.
c) A student continuing in a double major or minor program shall be awarded the second major diploma or minor certificate, provided that the student graduates from the first major program in which they are enrolled.
d) For students who have earned the right to graduate from the major diploma program but are unable to complete the second major diploma program, the period of study is the maximum period specified in the second paragraph of Article 16, starting from the academic year in which the student enrolled in the second major diploma program. Students who have earned the right to graduate from the major program but are unable to complete the minor program are granted an additional period of up to 2 semesters at the discretion of the relevant administrative boards.
