Academic and International Opportunities

Our students are offered various opportunities such as Double Major (ÇAP), Minor, Erasmus, and Student Exchange Programs.

Double Major (ÇAP) and Minor Programs Our department has double major and minor agreements with many other departments. Our students can apply for these programs starting from their second year if they wish.

International Education Opportunities (Erasmus+ and Exchange) Our university aims to increase our students' participation in study abroad programs, and our department supports Erasmus+ and Exchange programs in line with this goal. Among the universities we have Erasmus+ agreements with are successful universities from various European countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Greece, and Poland.

Our students can complete one semester, or (if mutually agreed) two semesters, of their education at these universities abroad. For more information about these programs, our students can contact Asst. Prof. Dr. Ebru İlter Akarçay or the International Office.

Academic Staff The staff of the Department of Political Science and International Relations includes 11 full-time young social scientists who have drawn attention with their national and international publications and the awards they have won.

Elective Foreign Language Courses Our students can take foreign language courses such as Spanish, German, Chinese, and Russian as Elective Courses. Most of these courses are taught by instructors who are native speakers of that language.

Mandatory Internship Our students are required to complete a mandatory internship of 40 working days in order to graduate.
