The recognition of prior learning in the Ph.D. Program in Chemical Engineering is carried out in accordance with the Regulations of Graduate Education of Yeditepe University and the relevant regulations of the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye (YÖK).
Courses previously completed at national or international higher education institutions, provided that they are compatible with the objectives and learning outcomes of the doctoral program, may be evaluated for course exemption upon the approval of the relevant department and graduate school committees.
Informal and non-formal learning experiences (such as professional experience, certificate programs, or in-service training) are not considered for course or credit exemption at the doctoral level; however, they may be taken into account as supporting evidence during the academic evaluation of applicants.
All decisions regarding the recognition of prior learning are made by the authorized academic boards in compliance with the applicable regulations.
