Applicants to the Ph.D. Program in Chemical Engineering must hold a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field from a higher education institution recognized by the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye (YÖK) or an equivalent international authority.
Candidates are required to meet the national doctoral admission requirements, including a valid ALES score (or an equivalent international examination score accepted by YÖK). The minimum required ALES score and score type are determined by the Yeditepe University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences in accordance with current regulations.
Since the language of instruction of the program is English, applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency. Accepted examinations include YDS, YÖKDİL, e-YDS, TOEFL iBT, or other internationally recognized examinations approved by YÖK. Minimum language score requirements are announced in the official graduate admission guidelines of the university.
Applications are submitted through the Yeditepe University online graduate application system within the announced application periods. During the application process, candidates are required to upload the necessary documents, which may include academic transcripts, diplomas, examination results, a statement of purpose, and reference letters.
Applicants may be invited to a scientific evaluation and/or interview conducted by the relevant department and the Graduate School. Final admission decisions are made based on the overall evaluation of academic background, examination scores, and interview performance.
Candidates who are admitted must complete their official registration within the specified dates by submitting all required documents. Failure to complete registration within the announced period results in the forfeiture of the admission right.
