The Masters Program in Political Science and International Relations is open to all candidates holding a B.A. from a Turkish or an international university, as approved by the Turkish Higher Education Board (YÖK). Prospective students are required to take the LES (Graduate Education Test), a general requirement of YÖK, and achieve the ALES score of 55 EA (quantitative and verbal joint section). Candidates must also pass an oral examination given by the faculty members.
In our institution, the medium of education is English and candidates must have taken the TOEFL with a minimum score of 213 in the computer-based system or 79 in the internet based system. Those students whose English is not sufficient for graduate studies may join the master’s program upon successful completion of an English language program.
