Specific Admission Requirements

For Turkish Students:

 

• High school diploma
• Obtaining a sufficient score in the university entrance exam conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM)
• Not being enrolled in another higher education institution
• Central placement is carried out by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM)

 

 

For International Students:

Announcements and application dates are published on the YTU (Yıldız Technical University) website. Applications must be submitted to the YTU Student Affairs Office either by post or in person within the specified dates.

Candidates may choose up to three departments and are required to fill out a preference form during the application.

Placement is based on national and international examinations and the minimum required scores obtained in these exams. The results of high school completion exams (such as Abitur, International Baccalaureate, GCE, Tawjihi, etc.) are valid indefinitely. However, the validity period of university entrance exams (such as SAT, TCS, etc.) is limited to two years.

Applications are evaluated by the YTU International Student Admission Committee.

 

For Exchange Students:

The student must be a full-time student at their home university. There must be an inter-institutional agreement between the home university and Yeditepe University.

The home university must officially nominate the student for the relevant exchange program.

The home university sends the application documents to the YTU International Relations Office. Applications are evaluated by the relevant department and the International Relations Office.
