To complete the program, students will be required to take a total of 36 credits. After successful completion of the required course work, students will have to take a comprehensive exam upon successful conclusion of which they will be allowed to conduct research and write a Ph.D. thesis which is expected to be an original contribution to scientific knowledge. Students generally finish their course work in two years and they are recommended to conclude their research in the subsequent two years.
