The Doctoral Program in Restorative Dentistry is staffed by two professors, one associate professor and seven assistant professors. The program is conducted at the Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry Hospital. It offers candidates extensive preclinical, clinical, and research opportunities. Preclinical training is carried out in the phantom laboratory. Patient care services are provided in the Doctoral/Master Clinic and the Laser Clinic (Er:YAG, diode, and CO₂ lasers), in accordance with Joint Commission International (JCI) standards. Approximately ten thousand patients are admitted to the faculty each year.
For research activities, the Faculty of Dentistry is equipped with one hard tissue laboratory and one soft tissue laboratory. In addition, students have access to the research laboratories within the Graduate School of Yeditepe University, to which the doctoral program is affiliated. Comprehensive library facilities, providing access to both printed and electronic resources, are available at the Yeditepe University main campus and within the Faculty of Dentistry.
