Educational Aim of the Program

  • To educate highly qualified professionals who can comprehensively analyze the agricultural and food sectors through the integrated perspectives of economics, business administration, finance, and international trade, and who are capable of developing innovative and sustainable solutions to sectoral challenges using data-driven analytical approaches and advanced research methodologies.
  • To prepare researchers and professionals who can critically evaluate global agricultural trade dynamics, commodity market mechanisms, and the economic impacts of agricultural policies, and who are capable of contributing to strategic decision-making processes at both microeconomic and macroeconomic levels.
  • To develop experts who are committed to scientific ethics and sustainability principles in agricultural and agri-food systems, and who are able to integrate contemporary approaches such as digital transformation, climate change adaptation, resource efficiency, and supply chain management into agricultural business practices.

Educational Objectives of the Program

  • Students will be able to integrate advanced theoretical and applied knowledge in agricultural economics, business administration, finance, and international trade to develop analytical thinking, modeling capabilities, and strategic decision-making skills within the agricultural value chain.
  • Students will be able to apply econometric analysis, data modeling techniques, and risk management tools to agricultural markets within the framework of agricultural policy, commodity markets, and global trade systems, enabling them to generate effective and evidence-based solutions.
  • Students will be able to conduct interdisciplinary scientific research on sustainability in agriculture, food security, rural development, and environmental sustainability, and contribute to both academic literature and industry practice through their master’s theses and research projects.
  • Students will be equipped with practical and digital competencies in areas such as digital agriculture applications, big data analytics, supply chain technologies, and innovative business models, enabling them to actively contribute to the transformation of the agricultural sector and effectively collaborate with industry stakeholders.
