Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science and/or International Relations from an institution recognized within Turkey or from a foreign university whose equivalency is accepted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Applicants must satisfy the French language requirement through one of the following: a score of at least 60 on the YÖKDİL, YDS, or E-YDS examinations; graduation from an undergraduate program taught entirely (100%) in French; a level of at least B2 on the DELF-DALF examinations; or a passing result on the French Language Proficiency Examination administered by the School of Foreign Languages. In addition, applicants must have obtained a score of at least 55 on the ALES within the last three years. Applicants who have graduated from other fields of the Social Sciences are subject to the Scientific Preparatory Program. Applicants who completed their undergraduate education in French will be exempted from the French language examination. Two letters of reference and a letter of intent, both written in French, are required.
