The objective of this program in the Department of Periodontology is to train specialists who are educated according to contemporary and international standards, examine the health and disease conditions of teeth, implants, and the surrounding soft and hard tissues, and to train periodontology specialists with advanced knowledge in their field who keep up with current developments, aiming to diagnose and treat inflammatory diseases occurring in these tissues and maintain the health achieved after treatment.
The primary objective of the Periodontology Department's PhD program is to train Periodontology specialists who can successfully diagnose and treat patients according to contemporary and international standards, utilize advanced imaging techniques specific to dentistry, treat diseases of the teeth and surrounding tissues around implants, and keep up with scientific developments.
