Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Courses are conducted within an interactive program. For this purpose, “PowerPoint” presentations and, when necessary, online data sources related to the course are used. To ensure more effective learning, the instructor maintains continuous communication with students (via e-mail).

  • During the 1st and 2nd semester course periods, compulsory courses will be taken first, and the remaining elective ECTS will be completed up to 30 (a total of 120 ECTS is required to obtain a Master’s degree).

  • Elective courses taken by students will be organized so that they do not fall below 25% of the total.

  • Each student is required to present at least one seminar within the program.

  • The success grade is calculated as 40% of midterm exams and 60% of the final exam, with a minimum passing grade of 70 CC (70–74).

  • Attendance to courses is mandatory at 80%.

  • The language of instruction is English.

A student in the thesis-based master’s program must write their thesis in accordance with the thesis writing guidelines of the relevant institute and defend it orally before a jury. After the thesis defense, the jury gives a decision of acceptance, rejection, or revision by simple majority. Students whose thesis is returned for revision must complete the required changes and defend the thesis again before the same jury within a maximum of three months.
