Educational Aim of the Program

  • The aim of the Sports Physiotherapy Master’s Program at Yeditepe University is to educate specialist physiotherapists who follow current scientific approaches related to athlete health and performance, effectively apply evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation methods, and possess advanced knowledge and skills in the prevention, treatment, and return-to-sport processes of sports injuries. The program aims to improve students’ competencies in clinical decision-making, research planning and implementation, multidisciplinary teamwork, interpretation of scientific developments, and integration of scientific knowledge into professional practice. In addition, the program seeks to train specialist physiotherapists who can contribute to education, research, and clinical practice in the field of sports physiotherapy at national and international levels, while adhering to ethical values and adopting a lifelong learning perspective.
