Educational Aim of the Program

  • Enhance students’ language skills to strengthen their academic and professional competencies; within this vision, deepen students’ relationship with the language and help them perceive the languages they learn as gateways to their respective cultures.
  • Enable students to acquire basic, intermediate, and advanced communication skills in the foreign language they take, either as compulsory or elective.
  • Provide a learning environment that supports multilingualism and multiculturalism.
  • Develop competencies that allow students to communicate effectively in academic, professional, and social contexts.
  • Support language learning in alignment with the university’s internationalization goals.
  • Offer students certification opportunities that formally recognize their language proficiency.

Educational Objectives of the Program

  • Align all instructional programs with CEFR standards and continuously improve them using modern educational approaches.
  • Progress students’ four core language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) in a balanced and integrated manner.
  • Strengthen literacy, presentation, and communication skills that support academic success.
  • Create effective and dynamic learning environments by integrating pedagogical and digital innovations into teaching processes.
  • Contribute to students’ language preparedness for the university’s international collaborations, exchange programs, and cultural interactions.
  • Foster lifelong multilingual awareness, intercultural sensitivity, and the ability to communicate at a global level.
  • Certify students who successfully complete the department’s programs with official certificates reflecting their achieved level, thereby increasing their competitiveness in national and international academic and professional settings.
