Educational Aim of the Program
To enable students to reach a level of proficiency in French that allows them to communicate confidently in academic, cultural, and professional contexts.
To provide mastery of the terminology and text types commonly used in political science and international relations.
To develop students’ critical thinking, interpretation, analysis, and discussion skills in French within the framework of academic literacy.
To ensure that by the end of the program, students achieve CEFR B2 level proficiency, enabling them to participate effectively in French-medium departmental courses.

Educational Objectives of the Program
Students who successfully complete the program are expected to:
Use French fluently, accurately, and appropriately in academic and professional contexts.
Understand key concepts, discussion formats, and discursive structures specific to political science and international relations.
Analyze academic texts (articles, reports, analyses, interpretations) at the B2 level and develop informed opinions about these contents.
Engage in French oral communication, conduct discussions, express ideas clearly and coherently, and deliver academic presentations.
Demonstrate consistency and grammatical accuracy in French written production (summarizing, interpreting, developing arguments).
Possess the essential linguistic and academic foundation required for departmental courses.
