The admission of students to the program is explained in detail under the heading “Student Admission” in the section “About Yeditepe University.”
The regulations regarding the recognition of prior learning (formal, informal, and non-formal), as well as vertical, horizontal, and intra-institutional transfers, are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the “Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate and Bachelor’s Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions” determined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
In Turkey, the recognition process for non-formal and informal learning—based on certification or professional experience outside formal education institutions—is still in its early stages. Therefore, the recognition of prior learning has not yet been fully implemented in all programs at Yeditepe University.
