Educational Aim of the Program

  • Our department's vision is to contribute to the development of our students as designers who are mindful of society, nature, and our cultural values in both the national and international spheres, yet who think about the future and strive to shape it. Our department's mission is to think about today and tomorrow, using all the creative and technological possibilities required by the industrial design profession, and to develop individuals who are team players with strong communication skills, productive, responsible, inquisitive, intellectual, innovative, able to produce rational solutions to problems with a critical eye and an analytical approach, socially and environmentally responsible, mindful of ethical values, and distinguished by their identity as designers. During the education process, our students' relationships with the industry are established to increase their practical knowledge and familiarise them with the real needs of the industry.

  • Our department's mission is to cultivate professionals who are capable of utilising all creative and technological resources required by the industrial design profession, considering both the present and the future; who are team-oriented, possess well-developed communication skills, are productive, responsible, inquisitive, intellectual, innovative, and able to generate rational solutions to problems through a critical eye and an analytical approach; who are socially and environmentally responsible, uphold ethical values, and stand out as designers. During the education process, our students' relationships with industry are established to increase their practical knowledge and familiarise them with the real needs of the industry. The department's fundamental mission is to educate our students to be designers who live in the present but think about the future and strive to shape tomorrow.
