Specific Admission Requirements

For Turkish Students:

  • High school diploma,
  • Obtaining a sufficient score on the national university entrance examination conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM),
  • Not being registered in another higher education institution,
  • Student placement is carried out centrally by ÖSYM.

For International Students:

Information regarding application procedures and dates is announced on Yeditepe University’s official website. Applications must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office of Yeditepe University either by mail or in person within the announced dates. Each applicant may select up to three programs and must complete a preference form during the application process.

Placement is based on the evaluation of national and international examination results and minimum required scores. Results from high school leaving exams (such as Abitur, International Baccalaureate, GCE, Tawjihi, etc.) are valid indefinitely. However, results from university entrance exams (such as SAT, TCS, etc.) are valid for two years.

All applications are evaluated by the Yeditepe University International Student Admission Committee.

For Exchange Students:

Applicants must be full-time students at their home university. There must be an inter-institutional agreement between the home university and Yeditepe University. The home university must officially nominate the student for the relevant exchange program. The student’s application documents must be sent by the home university to the Yeditepe University International Office. Applications are evaluated jointly by the relevant academic department and the International Office.
